Meetings and Just Giving donations

As our project is a university assignment we not only get marked on how the educational area looks, but also the academic research we do to support the decisions we make.

Instead of attending our usual lecture on a Wednesday morning, we had a chance to meet with our university supervisor for our project. We were able to discuss any issues we were having, our plans for the project, what we've completed so far, and any other information regarding our project.

Luckily we didn't have any issues or problems with our project, so this did not need to be addressed (always nice to focus on the positives). We told our supervisor how helpful and supportive the school have been, as they've been willing to answer any questions we've had regarding the project, and they've helped us to improve some of our ideas.

We of course received some feedback to help improve our project. Our supervisor told us that although this assignment is based on making change happen, it is also important for us to focus on research that relates to why we are building an educational area. We also need to think about how we are going to involve pupils/staff within our project. We now know that we must focus on the research side of our assignment as well as the physical building aspect.

As a group we came to the conclusion that we will need to raise some money to help us purchase all the materials for our project. Harvey managed to set up a Just Giving page and we were able to share this on our Facebook pages so all our family and friends could see what we were doing and why we were trying to raise money. Our project's school were also very willing to share our Just Giving page on their own website to amplify our hopes of reaching the given target.

In total we managed to raise an amazing £680! We have been so thankful to everyone who has so kindly donated.
