Outdoor Learning Area
Official Website of Making change happen
Welcome to our blog page. Here we will tell you all about the work we are doing behind creating an outdoor learning area for our chosen school. We are in our third year of a Primary Teaching course at the University of Chichester and have been assigned to a project called ‘Make Change Happen’ for our final year assignment.
A bit about us
Our Outdoor Project
We are three, third year primary education students currently studying at University of Chichester. For our Wider curriculum module, we have been given a project called 'Making Change Happen'. This project provides an opportunity for trainee teachers to develop their skills and confidence in creative problem-solving in their professional world.
For our project we have been allocated Stedham Primary School, in Midhurst. For this project, they would like us to build an Outdoor Educational Area for their school. The aim of our project is to give young pupils the opportunity to experience outdoor learning, whilst providing the school with an allotment area. Pupils will be given the chance to grow their own vegetables, which will be used in their cookery lessons.

It's an amazing opportunity for us, and our true endeavor is to create an area that will benefit the learning of the pupils Stedham Primary School.
